Dr Yvonne Battle-Felton, author of Remembered, is a novelist, academic, host, and creative producer. Remembered (Dialogue Books 2019, Blackstone Publishing 2020), was longlisted for the Women’s Prize for Fiction (2019) and shortlisted for the Jhalak Prize (2020).

Winner of a Northern Writers Award in fiction (2017), Yvonne was commended for children’s writing in the Faber Andlyn BAME (FAB) Prize (2017) and has titles in Penguin Random House’s The Ladybird Tales of Superheroes and The Ladybird Tales of Crowns and Thrones.

Yvonne has a PhD in Creative Writing from Lancaster University and is a 2019 British Library Eccles Centre Visiting Fellow, and Principal Lecturer—Humanities Business and Enterprise Lead at Sheffield Hallam University where she lectures in Creative Writing.

Nigeria will face Tunisia in the second game of the Round of 16 on Sunday after the Carthage Eagles finished third in Group F.

Tunisia has had a tough AFCON 2021 experience, falling 1-0 to Mali in their opening game that was filled with controversy before thumping Mauritania 4-1 in their next game. Just before the game against Gambia that ended in a 1-0 loss for the 2004 winners, half of the squad tested positive for Covid-19 which meant they had to prosecute a must win match with a depleted squad.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria collected all available nine points in Group D when they Guinea Bissau on Wednesday to qualify for the last 16 of the African cup of Nations , currently held in Cameroon.

Over the years , I have had the opportunity to visit over 40 of the 51 official cities in England. I am always overwhelmed by the depth and beauty of each city as well as the lists of things to do.

It is always a refreshing to know that there is so much to do and to see within our doorstep

Early this year I visited Carlisle in Cumbria and I will be sharing with you 5 GOOD REASONS TO VISIT CARLISLE

1. Carlisle is the home of the 2nd smallest Cathedral in England after Oxford. The gothic architecture in this building dates back to the 13th and 14th Century. This was also one of the most beautiful cathedrals I had ever visited in England. I was offered a free tour and took lots of pictures.
2. Carlisle is also the home of some of the largest roman artifacts in the world. If you love artifacts, you will love Carlisle
3. Carlisle is also the home of the beautiful Carlisle Castle which has so much history but has gone through lots of changes over the years.
4. Carlisle is also the home of the Hadrians wall named after Emperor Hadrain.
5. Carlisle is not only the only City in Cumbria, It is also blessed with lovely sceneries, history and architecture .
