Samuel Oludare Yerokun, born in Ibadan, Nigeria, is the Project Coordinator of Action for Culture and Ethics, a community organisation servicing the interest of Africans in Scotland and UK wide.
A community radio Producer/Presenter with AwazFM 107.2 Glasgow and heads OY Media Scotland (and the Ibadan, Nigeria branch).
He facilitated, with others, the Renfrewshire Gospel Choir and was one of the Directors of Paisley FM.
An unapologetic community activist, he was one of the earliest participants of the Scottish Political Shadowing Scheme where he spent about 3 months at Holyrood (Scotland’s Parliament) shadowing a political representative.
He coordinates The Dayspring Dominion Chapel. Paisley. Scotland
The Africa4u Awards for Africans and Caribbeans in West Yorkshire has now been confirmed.
The event shall take place on Friday the 6th of May at The City Library in Bradford at 6pm on the dot . We are passionate about celebrating the success stories of African and Caribbean achievers in Bradford, Leeds, Huddersfield, Halifax and surrounding areas.
We will have some amazing speakers in the day living in different parts of West Yorkshire.
We will also be giving out Award certificates to some amazing African and Caribbean achievers living in West Yorkshire for their great work in various communities.

Chido Murinda
Chido Murinda is a Life Coach and an Audio Engineer.
She is a foodie (co-Founder Lavish Carte’) – Loves to make good food for self and others and make money in the process. A creative (Owner of Zvido Collections) – passionate about creating accessories using beads, mother earth, re-cycled and up-cycled material.
She is on a mission to empower, bring happiness and hope into people’s lives through food and crafts. Her drive to empower women saw her appointed the inaugural Women’s Entrepreneurship Day Organization (WEDO) Youth Ambassador for Zimbabwe in 2015.
She is currently serving as:
Head PR for Save the Woman. Harare Ambassador for Women’s Entrepreneurship Day Organization Zimbabwe. Coordinator for Network of African Business Women Zimbabwe.
Her forte’ is Coordination and Administration with experience spanning over 15yrs gained in various capacities. Chido has a weakness for the bass guitar and enjoys music.

Tranquil Productions was established in 2005 and over the past decade has grown to become one of the leading specialists for breakin (breakdance) workshops and performances in the UK.
Our mission is to help improve the lives of the people we work with through our breakin classes and projects. We work in communities and in education. Through our work we have seen physical/mental health and well-being transformations for many children, young people and adults. We create relationships that help to develop positive characteristics, such as confidence and discipline in the people we work with. We also provide creative outlets for people to express themselves.
