Any relationship built on excitment will crash some day. I remember meeting two wonderful women and the first thing they asked me was why do you want to be our friend? I replied, explaining my admiration towards their work, further stating that I needed a support system. That line of statement defined the relationship and gave it a clear vision.

The same goes for a love relationship. If you meet someone of interest, make it clear. I admire you and I would love to get to know you. I can’t promise anything but if it’s right I see the possibility of a future together.

As a result, the relationship now has a clear vision. Friendship plus possibility of marriage if both parties align at the long run.

I believe that if relationships be it business, ministry friends, platonic, marriage based, partnerships are defined from the start a lot of unwanted expectations, bitterness, and disappointment can be avoided
