My name is Takudzwa Chikepe. Famously known as VaChikepe: The Poet. I am 34 years and a Zimbabwean. I started writing Poetry from the age of 19 and I am still writing. My Biggest Award so far, is being the Best Poet in the Mutabaruka Awards of the International Reggae And World Music Awards (IRAWMA), 2021. Currently, I am at Duke University in the US, studying Masters in Divinity. 
My greatest wish is to develop Poetry in Africa, together with its Poets and to publicly display the power of Poetry.
