THELMA OBAZE

I have always loved to broadcast,to talk,to narrate,to conduct interviews., I love to see peoples reactions to pleasant and surprising news..I used to interview my siblings as far back as I can recall.. I did get into UNIBEN for Law, twice but didnt make Mathematics,so English and Literature welcomed me. 

I went to Television College,Rayfield after my youth service ,in 2000 and had my internship at NTA Jo’s… I was later employed at Independent Television and Radio,Benin- City from Jan 2001- July 2002..

 I was employed at NTA ,Victoria Island, Lagos in April,2003,where I stayed for over a decade until I got transferred to NTA H/ qtrs,Abuja in 2013 and I am still there now.

I have presented a potpourri of programmes in Lagos and Abuja,from breakfast shows to musical programmes, anchored exercise, lifestyle and ICT programmes as well as ,location reportage and Newscasting… The excitement has not dimmed..

Major programmes anchored- A.M Express, Morning Ride, After Dawn on NTA 2, Weekend Deal,Wellness and Living e.t.c.. 

I am a wellness enthusiast and a certified fitness Trainer.. 

Even when I leave paid employment,I will love to talk,Script and promote broadcasting of some sort… I believe nothing is impossible, if we are determined. 

I was born in the mid 1970’s in Benin- City. I dislike two faced and Sly people and pray for a world where everyone gets their hust deserts.
