Sue Butcher will be one of the Key Speakers at The Commonwealth for Africa 2020 taking place in Middlesberough

ABOUT SUE BUTCHER 

Sue Butcher have very recently taken up the role of Director of Children’s Care,
Middlesbrough Council however she has over 30 years of experience working as an
improvement Director of Children in Care.

Sue has achieved major improvements in
children’s services at local authority, regional and national levels and has extensive
experience over many years working in various local authorities. In 2016, Ms Butcher led asuccessful improvement journey as Deputy Director of Children’s Services in Dudley,
following an Ofsted “inadequate” judgement.  This led to her being personally praised in theOfsted report.

This year’s event is a two day interactive and empowering event as a retreat for stakeholders and all parties concerned with the journey of rebuilding homes and support of African families within the UK.
