WE HAVE BEEN BLESSED

 

We have been blessed,

To carry his word into the living streets,

Sharing from the food of his many stories,

Into the new world of many new worlds,

Yet feeding new souls with love

 

We have been blessed,

To turn our cheeks and not engage in bitter battles,

To halt at the sign of trouble

For all it takes is a warm embrace,

All it takes is a lighter grace,

All it takes is to know your place

And all it takes ids for the shepherd to share new thoughts that govern the homes of many nations.

 

We have been blessed,

To live, to give, to forgive

To fall on our knees and praise

And righteously preach, of the almighty seat,

For what can go wrong, when we sing the Lords song

We have been blessed
