Jenice Zonette Revers is passionate about supporting young people to hone their inner power, in order to transform their own lives and improve their life chances.  She is both a qualified Guidance Counsellor and Social Worker.  She has over 20 years’ experience working with children and young people in educational settings in the inner city of Jamaica and within local authority social services in the UK.

According to UK Youth, ‘Evidence shows that the barriers young people face to achieving economic independence, well-being and finding the right support, are disproportionate to the population as a whole.  The effects of this marginalisation have a profound impact on the self-worth of the individual, and a negative impact on their life now and further down the line.’ (http://www.ukyouth.org/our-challenge.html)

It is Jenice’s hope that her writing, talks and workshops will support young people to develop a healthy sense of ‘self-worth’, hence to become equipped to improve their life chances and to pursue a happy and fulfilling life.
