It is nearly impossible to talk about the very best African female singers without mentioning the amazing Yvonne Chaka Chaka and her profound legacy especially as she continues to set the pace in so many areas of Life.

I have been a huge fan of the artists for so many years and her music in my view has always represented the political, social and moral anthems of many African cultures, mindsets and visions.

Yvonne Chaka chaka is an internationally recognised Singer, Songwriter, Humanitarian, Teacher and Entrepreneur. she is also one of Africa,s most talented artists.

Many people know her as The Princess of Africa, She has been on the music scene for over 30 years

I met her for the very first time at the House of Lords in London in 2014 at an event themed “AFRICA RISING – THE ROLE OF THE DIASPORA AFRICAN WOMAN” organised by the amazing Justina Mutale
