Music4Children is a charity dedicated to improving the lives of children around the world through various projects that break the negative cycles of homelessness, poverty, crime and abuse.
Music4Children centres are community-run, ethically managed and self-sustaining, using renewable energy and locally-sourced materials. They also embed themselves in the local economies of communities, encouraging exposure of local crafts and produce to tourists and other buyers and through the learning of skills, aim to improve the quality of life for future generations.
We aim to use music to fundraise, educate and heal, and to build international networks of talented musicians who support our goals and principles. Our regular events aim to generate a sense of community, good-will and create an extended international family for the children involved in our programmes.
Music4Children is a charity which was founded by Oz Bayldon in 2005 to enrich and nurture children nationally and internationally. Music4children offers some of the poorest children abroad the basics of food, shelter and education.
Recently, we have expanded our activities to provide local children free access to culture and creative education here at our headquarters in Streatham, South West London.
