The 63rd Grammys took place yesterday and it was indeed a glorious affair. Hosted by South African comedian and host of The Daily Show, Trevor Noah, the night boasted surprise appearances (Beyoncé) and several historic wins (Beyoncé again in addition to Blue Ivy Carter, Taylor Swift and Megan Thee Stallion).
Adedayo Abayomi Adeniji, born on 12th October 1976, is a Presenter/Producer/Newscaster with Africa’s largest Television Network, Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) Lagos, Channel 10. A native of Abeokuta, Ogun state, Adedayo started working with NTA on 1st July 1996 as a cameraman with WASSC. Today, Dayo has Professional Diploma in Television Production from NTA Television College, Jos, Plateau state (2000). He also has B.A (Hons) English Language from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ogun state (2008) and in 2016 bagged M.A English Language from Nigeria’s premier University, University of Ibadan.
Adedayo has cast news, produced and presented so many Programmes for NTA including Weekend Delight, Language Scope and Flavours, all for NTA Abeokuta, Role Model- a 2013 NTA Network TELEFEST documentary entry, Breaking Barriers and Facts, Face and Forum for NTA Lagos Channel 10 and countless special reports among others for NTA Network Service programmes and news including Weekend Deal and Road Matters.
Adedayo Adeniji has received multiple corporate commendations from Nigerian Television Authority for outstanding TV productions and presentations. Recently, Southwest Nigeria Excellence Award recognised Adedayo’s immense contributions to the Nigerian society by giving him the prestigious Southwest Nigeria Award of Excellence for Community Impact. Adedayo is married to Mrs Oluwaseyi Adeniji with three beautiful children.

Chinomso Thelma Amadi is a seasoned broadcaster and an experienced communication professional and media trainer. She has about 6 years of experience in full-time TV broadcasting as a content developer, Reporter, Anchor, Producer, trainer, editorial skills etc. She started out with Africa Health Television (AHTV), an independent broadcast firm where she cut her niche in health Journalism, reporting on health-related events in the Federal Capital Territory. In Peoples TV as a News and Programme Anchor, reporter and News producer, she trained young corp members and IT students in areas of news reporting, script writing and news gathering. At Fesadeb Media Group, Chinomso provided insight in content production for Housing Development Programme on AIT, and also presented the programme. In the course of her work there, she coached young employees in areas of news writing, reporting and conduction interviews.

I have always loved to broadcast,to talk,to narrate,to conduct interviews., I love to see peoples reactions to pleasant and surprising news..I used to interview my siblings as far back as I can recall.. I did get into UNIBEN for Law, twice but didnt make Mathematics,so English and Literature welcomed me.
I went to Television College,Rayfield after my youth service ,in 2000 and had my internship at NTA Jo’s… I was later employed at Independent Television and Radio,Benin- City from Jan 2001- July 2002..
I was employed at NTA ,Victoria Island, Lagos in April,2003,where I stayed for over a decade until I got transferred to NTA H/ qtrs,Abuja in 2013 and I am still there now.
I have presented a potpourri of programmes in Lagos and Abuja,from breakfast shows to musical programmes, anchored exercise, lifestyle and ICT programmes as well as ,location reportage and Newscasting… The excitement has not dimmed..
