Anne has been involved for over 25 years in the field of international trade, in both the private & public sector.  She has extensive experience in the fields of trade development, compliance, and EU funded projects.

She took up her current position as Head of International Trade & Compliance at Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce Group in 2003, with responsibility for the development and delivery of Chamber’s extensive portfolio of International Trade Services, as well as developing strategic partnership with key stakeholders.

She is an member of the national BCC International Trade Group, as well as being a UKTI / Department for Business Innovation and Skills (BIS) approved inspector, assessor and trainer relating to the field of origin & trade preference regulations.

Nigerians at home will also be able to find information about holidaying abroad, studying abroad, housing, transportation, hotels and serviced apartments, immigration rules, public health care services in the UK and a forum to engage Nigerians in diaspora in business relationships. CHANTELE CARRINGTON- AFRICA FINANCIAL SERVICES LEAD FOR PWC UK – SPEAKER AT AFRO BUSINESS EXPO 2015

Chantelé is the Africa financial services and Southern Africa lead for the PwC UK Africa Business Group, which brings together resource and skills from PwC Africa and PwC UK to support clients.  She has spent over 10 years working in financial services on the African continent, is Afrikaans South African and can speak a dash of Xhosa.

Since joining PwC South Africa, Chantelé has worked as an auditor and consultant to African and British companies, including those listed on the FTSE100, JSE, and other African stock exchanges.  She has worked in several business units at PwC; her latest focus being on global relationships with South African companies in the UK.  Her expertise ranges across internal and external audit, and controls, governance and regulatory consulting, for insurers, asset managers, funds and banks. Other experience includes tax, liquidations and forensics.

Chantelé represents PwC on the board of the South Africa Chamber of Commerce in the UK.  The Chamber promotes investment into South Africa as a ‘gateway’ for further investment into the African continent. She has written articles on investment governance which have been published in global financial magazines.

She is a studios literatus who peruse with great delight, any good story she lays her hands on. Sheis a budding poetess; 1st Asa Poetry Prize Winner, 2014-2nd Edition, writer in other literary genres,as well as a book reviewer and an editor.

A spirited young lady encompassed with zeal to brainstorm innovative ideas and work on existing phenomenon and ideologies. She is jovial and on the sunny side of life with passion for research and result.

CHRIS NASAH – CHAIRMAN OF CAMEROON INVESTMENT FORUM- SPEAKER AT THE AFRO BUSINESS EXPO 2015

Chris is passionate about investing in Africa for the social and economic development. Chris was part of a movement that made representation to the British Government in 1997 on their International Development Policy in ensuring that members of the African Diaspora community were consulted in the development of their countries of origin, and has also served as an Africa and Middle East Trade Advisor to the UK Government Trade Partners UK (UK Trade International) between 2001 and 2003, contributing to its corporate plan 2002-2005.

Chris Chaired the Olympic Planning Committee (OPC) to welcome the Cameroonian Olympic delegation to the United Kingdom in 2012. Chris has led Cameroon Forum to be honoured with two recent awards – Best Social Enterprise, and Best Community Builders.

Mr Nasah is a qualified lecturer, and was an  External Examiner for the Certificate in Professional Practice and Management in Architecture at The Bartlett School of Architecture,  University College London – his alma matta. He was a  Fellow of the Arts Council of England Hosted by the Royal Institute of British Architect’s Architecture Gallery.

TONY FIDDY – PRESIDENT OF NAANOVO’S WTE DIVISION AND KEY SPEAKER AT AFRO-BUSINESS EXPO, READING

Tony Fiddy has a background in Mechanical Engineering, He oversees the global deployment of WTE/Maax systems and to work with regional representatives of Naanovo and its subsidiaries in the development of WTE projects. As Regional VP of Europe and Africa, Tony is responsible for overseeing project development (WTE, solar, biomass, etc.) within those two regions. He is also Chairman of Solar Maax Limited.

As the former Chairman and CEO of the Plantwise Group of Companies, based in the UK, Tony oversaw an international company which specializes in exporting construction equipment from the UK to Africa and the Middle East in support of the mining and power industries. Sourcing mining equipment, power plant equipment and essential spare parts for several far-reaching projects was his specialty.

Tony has over the years forged relationships with a broad network of seasoned industry professionals, government officials and equipment manufacturers across Europe, Africa and the Middle East, which has proven valuable to Naanovo. Tony was also the former National Chairman and Branch Chairman of the Contractors Mechanical Plant Engineers (CMPE) and a Member of the Institute of Exporters.
