Countdown to Nigerian Global Diaspora Development Conference 2018:

During my inaugural address in 2016, I stated that the New Executive´s immediate objective is a holistic re-strategizing and repositioning of NIDOE to make NIDOE a self-sufficient and self-driven organization and to position it as a well ordered and dependable group that is promoting national development, business, trade & investment opportunities and providing a professional resource pool from where the Diaspora and National developmental interests could be managed in a transparent but secure, respectful but fair manner, inducing growth in the areas of economic, social, academic, political, entertainment activities where our people seek to position themselves.

We mean every single word of it! Nigerian Global Diaspora Development Conference 2018, 26th July – 28th July 2018 is only the beginning.

WILL THE SUPER EAGLES OF NIGERIA MAKE AFRICA PROUD AS THEY FACE ARGENTINA TOMORROW?

Nigeria striker Odion Ighalo says Tuesday’s decisive World Cup Group D clash against Argentina in St Petersburg will be “a war”.

Argentina must win to reach the second round while the Super Eagles can qualify with either victory or a draw.

“It’s going to be war (and) a final of finals because they need to win,” Ighalo told BBC Sport.

“They are going to come all out and (use) every tactic that they know to win a game.”

The clash between Argentina and Nigeria will be the fifth World Cup meeting between the sides – with the Super Eagles yet to avoid defeat.

With maximum points in Russia following wins over Nigeria and Argentina, group leaders Croatia have already claimed one of the group’s berths in the Round of 16.

That has left Nigeria, Iceland and Argentina – runners-up at the 2014 World Cup – scrapping for just one place.
