Tony Tokunbo Eteka Fernandez is an International Award Winner, Published Author & Poet, Broadcast Journalist, MC and Youth Empowerment Consultant . He is also The CEO of AFRICA4U and The Founder of Africans in The Diaspora People also see him as a Cultural and Social entrepreneur, which means he is skilled in working with many different communities, bringing people together in successful focused events. Tony has organised many cultural events …involving both BME and mainstream communities. He is skilled in hosting events that reinforce community cohesion and bringing different kinds of people together. He has organised events in The UK, The U.S.A, Holland, Germany, Romania, Malta and Nigeria and has visited over 22 European Countries. Tony has also organised The Black History Month Celebrations at The UK House of Parliament for over five years in a row He continues to promote the true life and success stories of Africans in Europe and Africans around the world and has organised several small scale literary and awards initiatives aimed at empowering young people. He has also spent time as an International broadcaster and was The Producer and Presenter for AFRICA4U International Radio Talk Show at Reading4u Radio Station for nearly three years. Tony has interviewed high profile Members of Parliament, Distinguished celebrities and some of Africas best musicians including Ivonne Chaka Chaka and Kanda Bongoman. He has also been a guest on BBC Radio on numerous occasions to discuss the community cohesion events he organises at UK House of Parliament and also to recite some of his published work in memory of Nelson Mandela, 50 Years Anniversary of The race relations act and major community issues. Tony has also a Guest on popular Radio stations in Nigeria and The States In the last few years he has been very passionate about Youth empowerment, community cohesion and cultural intelligence. Tony was born in South London and has lived in several parts of England and Nigeria . He started writing at the tender age of nine, a habit he expressed with creative enthusiasm. Tony writes Poetry, short stories and proverbs on personal development. He is currently working on his 4th book which will also be his first novel. He is also into Public Speaking at Special events and Social functions and is a Mentor for young people in the UK Community. He completed a Bachelor of Arts degree at The University of Lagos, Nigeria in English and World Literature. He later went on to attain a teaching qualification at The Frances King International Training Institute, South Kensington London, it was here he studied Teaching English as a Foreign Language. He also studied Web Design at The City University in London. He published his first book in June 1999 called “The Beauty in the Dark” (A Collection of Poetry which received critical acclamation in many circles around the world). .Tony’s aim in life is to inspire the young generation and to encourage the youth to make the very best of their dreams and aspirations,. He published a 2nd book in June 2009 called ” The Sound of Running Water” – A Family gift book of proverbs and quotations on Personal Development and Positive Thinking . In December 2009, he published his 3rd book called “One Moment of Peace”.- A collection of Poetry inspired by personal experiences and spiritual growth. Besides the fact that the Artist has won International online awards, he is mostly inspired by Life experience, love, music and cultural awareness. He was Resident Poet at the 5th London Poetry Festival in 2009 and has been a guest on BBC Radio on very many occassions including The famous Anne Diamond Show. He has also been a guest on a few SKY TV stations and several International Radio Stations around The World

Bio of Ismael Lea South

Ismael Lea South is an award winning innovative Youth Work Consultant. This includes being a consistent practitioner, facilitator, coordinator, mentor and researcher. He works between London, Birmingham, Manchester & Shefffield. He is the co-founder of The Salam Project (www.thesalamproject.org.U.K.) that he co founded with fellow proactive youth workers. 

His specialist expertise are mentoring interventions with young people on the verge of permanent exclusion, resettlement solutions for young ex-offenders in communities, assisting young people to employment, accredited training and employment. Coordinating support for young sports/football academy players who have been released by their clubs by finding alternative lower league/international placements or alternative sports industry related vocations. He’s also known for working with young urban artists in understanding the business side of the creative industries. 

An assertive personality who has project managed numerous anti knife crime, anti gang crime, prison resettlement and counter-extremism projects around in various cities in England. 

A strong advocate for independent youth outreach organisations to adopt a more social entrepreneurship model, rather than being reliant on funding and donations. 

A straight forward and opinionated person who is very passionate about his work!!

Beatrice aka “LULU” a public renowned queen prefers action with tangible results rather than promises and words. As Miss Milton Keynes 2016/2017; Actress; Brand Ambassador and a Serial Entrepreneur . Lulu upholds the basic levels of event planning /event organization / project development in order to produce tangible results based on planning realistic goals and action plans. Regardless of the tasks she ensures that excellent results are produced. Beyond results she constantly   counter checks to see any specific action on any process conducted that could be improved in order to streamline any process in a more effective strategy moving forward.

Lulu began her professional Acting Career as World – Class Actress on both top commercial adverts (Thomas Burberry/ Mac Milan Cancer/ M&S /KFC), drama series (eastenders/father mother son etc), brand ambassador to products and labels (Nala money /energy drinks), and top class movies upto Indiana Jones 5. With her credentials her work ethics, Lulu didn’t find it hard to rise among the ranks and became CEO of 5 companies & being Ms Milton Keynes 2016/2017. Top event organizer with her own record label – Lu La Grande International. She then started to replicate her applied process among her peers, who took note of how valuable she is to their events /businesses. She got attention of other companies wanting to acquire her and gave her a couple of offers, of which she refused because of the potential she sees for growth in herself and her organization. She was correct, and the loyalty and hard work which surely bore fruits making her tops ready for bigger league.

Lulu as the operational lead in all her firms’ shows beyond doubt that she is a big fish in any sector she is introduced or attached to being “Lulu the jack of all trades”. She doesn’t just meet goals but exceeds the expectations month in and month out.

She has always created seamless processes undeniably close to genius. Always mingle with her peers making her receive recognition for being an inspiration and a constant motivator all round. Her leadership skills rose above challenges in months of hard times , clients proved difficult to manage thus proving true leadership  is only made better with tough times hence being at the top of her game.

CELEBRATING INI USANGA -AN OVERALL WINNER OF THE 4TH ANNUAL CORK VOLUNTEER AWARDS IN IRELAND

Ini Usanga Overall Winner of the 4th annual Cork Volunteer Awards. 

The prestigious awards ceremony took place at the Kingsley Hotel, Cork. Ini Usanga of Love and Care for People scooped the overall C103 Volunteer of the Year Award 2022. 

Ini also took home the North Cork Volunteer Award 2022. This event was organised by Cork Volunteer Centre, CETB, C103, UCC, Cork Credit Union.

People of Cork had the opportunity to nominate a volunteer whom they believe is worthy of recognition for the work they do. 

Ini was recognized in part for supporting over 500 young people of migrant heritage in Ireland, encouraging them to stay in school and further their education. Speaking to Cork’s 96FM & C103 News, Ini said she was shocked by the success and very grateful for the recognition. 

Ini said it’s all about team work and this award would not be possible but for she team whom she thanked for their dedication and commitment including Giovanni Paris, Ece Aksoy, Giorgia Mazarra, Gülbahar Ok. 

However, Ini said she will be dedicating her award to her partner and best friend Dr. Ado Mazombe whom she describes as her light.
