The UK HealthTech AfyaRekod launches Universal patient portal for worldwide health data mobility management.
AfyaRekod is a Universal Patient Portal, built on block-chain technology that will transform the face of health care across the UK and the World. Through a secured centralized platform (www.MyRekod.com) patients can securely managing their health records, including health diaries, prescriptions and hospital visit summaries. The AfyaRekod Universal Patient Portal offers a secure decentralised, intelligent telehealth solution, healthcare resources, symptom trackers, reminders and notifications, as well as the mobility of the record across multiple channels and devices.
AfyaRekod was founded by CEO John Kamara in 2019 as an Adanian Lab start-up with seed funding from Mac Venture Capital and Next Chymia. Kamara saw first-hand how the lack of medical records and static data could lead to poor medical management when a friend died having received the wrong medical intervention in an emergency. Kamara built an AI platform that would track health data, aimed at bridging the gap between health care and treatment, anywhere, anytime for patients, medical professionals, providers and organisations.
The pandemic has pressed the fast-forward button, bringing an urgency into health data accessibility and analytics. This is a global problem that is being addressed by a patient-centred health care innovation – AfyaRekod.
To register today follow the 1-2-3 steps.

A cousin of Basil, Roland Butcher had come to the United Kingdom at the age of thirteen from his native Barbados.[1] He was an aggressive middle-order batsman, who represented Middlesex between 1974 and 1990. His intuitive batting style owed much to the archetypicalWest Indian calypso flair.[1] He “secured his place in history when he became the first black player to represent England, making his Test debut at Bridgetown in 1980-81”.[3]
Butcher came to prominence during Middlesex’s successes in 1980 when they won the County Championship and the Gillette Cup, impressing with a rapid half-century in the final of the latter.[4] He had actually made his England debut two weeks later, impressing with another half-century on his one-day international debut against Australia.[5] He struggled more however on the 1980-1 tour against the West Indies who had the most powerful bowling line-up in the world at the time and did not play for England again.
In 1983, “he suffered a sickening injury which threatened his eyesight when struck by George Ferris“, but managed to recuperate and return to the sport.[3] He continued to enjoy success with Middlesex, winning the County Championship again in 1982 and 1985, and featuring in victories in the finals of the NatWest Trophy in 1984 and 1988 and the Benson and Hedges Cup in 1983. In 1987 he won the Walter Lawrence Trophy for recording the fastest century of the season (in terms of balls faced) against Sussex
Back in London for the summer of 2022, we caught up with former England batter and Middlesex legend Roland Butcher at Lord’s last week to talk to him about his time with the Club and to tell us about a new product launch he has been working on, developing and launching a new range of scientifically proven, innovative training bats that will help batters around the world cope better against the moving ball. Roland’s coaching bats are available to purchase here: https://b3cricket.com/

ABOUT MR EBELE OBUMSELU
I have a varied professional background with a strong focus on managing market research, social research and stakeholder programmes and projects in both public and voluntary sector. I have experience of developing insight products from data collection and analysis in roles working in the public sector (particularly regulators in the food, justice, health/social services sector).
I have worked in the NHS, local government and the Civil Service. This includes eight years as lead research and community engagement officer within the Chief Executives Department and policy unit in a busy London local authority, four years in the NHS, and four in the voluntary sector, mostly on research projects to improve health care access and patient experience.
My local government experience was focused on leading, advising and supporting the local authority’s market research and customer engagement activities, including complaints analysis, management and customer feedback.
My NHS has experience provided me with formal research skills and experience of reaching, engaging and researching ‘difficult to reach’ social groups.
Specialties: 1. Research management – designing, implementing, managing and commissioning research projects for both internal purposes and external clients.
2. Researching and engaging ‘hard to reach’ groups and customers – designing and implementing research projects to gather insight and intelligence for policy development/service improvement.
3. Data collection, analysis and report writing – including handing data requests and enquiries from customers and service managers.
