WHY IT IS A BLESSING TO GET FIRED – BY LAILA IRAKOZE FROM BURUNDI

Why It’s a blessing to get fired!!

I left my waitressing job when I secured an amazing job after, I spent every night searching for a stable job that was finally going to help me with my business.

This is the most traumatic event especially, when you’ve been working so hard to become better person on that job. When I was fired last year as a SALES DEVELOPER for a Telecoms Company, I thought this was the end of my career especially, I worked tirelessly to become a better speaker to different businesses. Why I tell you its a blessing? Trust me, I completely understand but God has a way of molding even rejection into a major win. In fact, let’s take a step back and assess.

Whether you’ve been fired, laid off, or recently rejected from something you thought was meant for you, here are a few things to keep in mind when adversity hits you in the face:

It’s always good to look on the bright side of things, but when it comes to losing your job, you may find it difficult to see the up side. However, getting the axe can push you into what you’re really meant to do or free up your time to find a better professional fit.

Firings help you understand people.

Losing your job–or any gloomy experience, really–can teach you what it’s like to be on the receiving end of a sucky experience. This knowledge can take your mind, your relationships, your life and your career to new heights. Empathy is a valuable trait and skill, and it’s easier to understand what others are going through when your own range of experience is wide and deep.

Firings are by no means a deal-breaker in most careers.

Some of the best and boldest minds in every field have been fired at least once or twice or more.

Here’s 3 reason why it’s a blessing and not The END

1. You Needed the Extra Push to Greatness 🤍

We have all had those jobs where we are simply working to get a paycheck.

For whatever reason when you first started, this company called you back and offered you a wonderful starting salary and competitive benefits.

But in reality, this job was probably not meant for you.

It was holding you back from reaching your full potential.
