THE NDITO EFIK CANADA ASSOCIATION PRESENTS “EFIK DAY CANADA” TAKING PLACE ON THE 20TH OF SEPTEMBER 2025 AT ORCHARDS RESIDENTS ASSOCIATION BUILDING , 4059 ORCHARDS DRIVE, SW , EDMONTON
Come and be part of this amazing event.
The theme of the event will be – PRESERVING OUR PAST, BUILDING OUR FUTURE : THE EFIK LEGACY IN CANADA
I’m Inayah Sher, born and raised in Bradford, and I carry my love for this city deep in my heart. My journey is driven by a passion for activism and an unwavering commitment to creating positive change within my City. I’ve seen injustice up close, from personal trauma to the struggles of those around me especially from the time I was betrothed at the tender age of five.
My mission is clear: I want to leave a legacy.
Right now, I’m leading a campaign to ban fireworks in Bradford. It’s not just about noise; it’s about advocating for the safety and well-being of everyone in our City. I strive to create a culture of care and collaboration, working alongside others who share the same vision.
My life experiences have shaped who I am today. After facing abandonment during childhood, abuse, and ostracism from my family, I’ve learned the importance of treating everyone with love, respect, and equality. Going back to school at 27 was a turning point for me a testament to the power of education and resilience.
I stand for respect for humanity and peace essential values in our world today. Although I am the oldest individual in this group, I hope to show the world that it is never too late to become a master of something you have dreamed of! I will become a great speaker, God Willing and this is the beginning of my amazing journey.
