Saturday the 27th of April 2024 was a very historical day in the City of Bradford as more community legacies unfolded at THE CARLISE BUSINESS CENTRE, 60 Carlisle Road, Bradford BD8 8bd.

BRADFORD 4 BETTER CIC , an amazing organization which was first set up as a pressure group in the Spring of 2019, was officially recognized and awarded with THE KINGS AWARD FOR VOLUNTARY SERVICES for its amazing work, projects, initiatives, programmes and achievements in the City of Bradford.

In attendance was The LORD LIEUTENANT OF WEST YORKSHIRE, His Majesty Ed Anderson (who presented the award to Dr Sohail Ahmed – Chairman of Bradford 4 Better CIC), Dr Sofia Buncy, DEPUTY LIEUTENANT FOR WEST YORKSHIRE (MBE) , Professor Adeeba Malik, The High Sherrif for West Yorkhire and Deputy Chief Executive for QED Foundation as well as The MP for Bradford West – MP NAS SHAH.

The event was a memorable testimony of the rewards of hard work and the journey of unsung selfless heroes who continue to make Braford Cleaner, Safer and inspirational .

Dr Sohail Ahmed , (The Chairman of Bradford 4 Better) has always been passionate about making the City better and strongly believes that the details of success is more of a journey, rather than destination.

Kashif Ahmed (The Secretary for the organization ) continues to work selflessly and gracefully in making Bradford 4 Better stand out as a community action group with a mission to make a difference all year round.

Dr Shahid Islam – The Vice Chair of the organization also believes that The future of Bradford 4 Better is a blessing filled with success stories.
