THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR BIRTHDAY WISHES – HOW IT FEELS TO BE 54
As each day unfolds, the birth of new opportunities , create new sign posts through the many complex routes of LIFES JOURNEY.
The new rays of hope, add value to the roads of Lifes calling and our souls are put to test through endless chapters of growth, awareness and new lessons.
This is not to say that LIFE does not come with its many challenges – FAR FROM IT, but many of the bright roads to happiness starts to unfold, when we are able to embrace the pillars of gratitude, wisdom, forgiveness, being content as well as the journey to work on our imperfections with humility but also with self love.
TODAY I AM 54, and God has opened the doors to a fresh breathe of new opportunities.
There are new lessons flowing through the energy in my veins that have travelled through moments of LOVE, ADVENTURE, TRIALS, MISTAKES, GRACE, REFLECTION AND CROSSROADS CLOSE TO DEATH.
There are living seeds which have fed me with inner strength to appreciate and value the art and science of simplicity as well to create new room for more journeys and colorful encounters of growth.
SO TODAY I AM 54 – imperfect in many ways, but passionate to feed from the knowledge and the wisdom of new roads.
Today I am driven by LOVE, INTUITION and the STUBBORN WILL to be the CHANGE I would like to see in Society.
I am grateful to be alive on my 54 Birthday . It is such a great gift and I am thankful to all those who have blessed and mentored my journey so far .
I would like to say a big thank you to my lovely Father – CHIEF S.O FERNANDEZ , for blessing my journey with a firm foundation and for instilling my spirit with the paths into manhood.
I would like to say a big thank you to my lovely Mother – MRS P.S FERNANDEZ for blessing my journey with a firm foundation and for creating new paths of faith and lessons.
SPECIAL THANKS to my lovely Sister – NICOLETTE and my lovey brother STEVEN for being the best siblings I could ever wish for.
A BIG THANK YOU to all my family and friends around the world for always being there.
Your BIRTHDAY WISHES AND PRAYERS have made me feel SO SPECIAL.
TODAY I AM 54 and it is such a great feeling . I feel so sexy in my 50s.
THERE ARE THREE VALUABLE LESSONS IN LIFE which remain very close to my heart, my well being and my personal beliefs. They also have a big influence on my personal core values in LIFE
THEY ARE :
TO CONTINUE TO BE THE CHANGE THAT I WANT TO SEE IN SOCIETY
Remember, we do not need anyone’s permission to be that example of CHANGE and LEADERSHIP in todays world.
We also do not need to hold an official post to be A LEADER or to inspire the youth and the community.
True Change starts from YOU and ME, and TRUE CHANGE has taken me places. It will continue to take me places.
2. TO ACCEPT AND EMBRACE DIFFERENCES MORE WITHOUT MAKING ASSUMPTIONS OR BEING JUDGEMENTAL .
I believe that most of us are judgmental to some degree (sometimes sub-consciously)
But it is always important to realize that we all have differences as well as imperfections . As beautiful as we are as humans, there are always things that we need to work on and improve on.
For this reason and for many reasons, its truly not our place to judge, assume or look down on others, especially when we are not in their shoes and especially when we will never truly understand the depth and the layers of their stories and their experiences.
A truly wise man never assumes or makes judgements. He accepts, embraces and tries to understand the beauty of peoples journey – and this is part of the many facets that makes LIFE so special .
3. TO EMBRACE AND TO DO WHAT I CAN AS THE DAY BREAKS – LIFE IS SHORT
In March 2023, we had our first ever lockdown here in The UK and this was a period that shook the world beyond words and imagination.
I will never forget this period, because I had just come back from a one week break in PORTUGAL (exactly four days before the lockdown). I had such am amazing time. (I have had the opportunity to visit 34 countries around the world).
I never really know how i would react during the lockdown especially with several restrictions from visiting friends and going to places , but to my surprise, this was a period which turned out to be one of the most fulfilling chapters of my life.
I was able to feed on the silence and discover more things about myself and my inner being . There is power in reflection and true growth and strength sometimes unfolds from the best of quiet moments .
I also became very productive with a structured routine and was able to complete over 8 online courses. I kept on asking myself – why do people get so bored when there is so much to do even in lockdown, but perhaps I was being judgmental.
This period also taught me a very valuable lesson . The lesson was that LIFE WAS A VERY SHORT ALBUM, and if there is anything that you wanted to achieve in business, in routine or in pleasure – THERE WAS NO BETTER MOMENT THAN THE PRESENT MOMENT .
TODAY AT 54, As each day unfolds, my spirit is awake with the need to celebrate, appreciate, be grateful and be content.
Afterall, A content and grateful heart understands the dance of happiness.
THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR BIRTHDAY WISHES , I TRULY LOVE YOU .
