Title: A slave’s Odyssey

My feet hurts!

This journey of ours burns my sole in circles

It’s a curse! I am not excluded,

To make it worse; I know

My ancestors worked and made it history ,

Instead, my master ignored their works,

His treachery outscored Momma’s teachings

He swore to rob everyone off their treasures,

our colorful world burnt

spurned by many is

My masters manifesto of lies

Easy to recall , just a show of power

A window to his deceit

Like the height of a bamboo tree ,hard to reach

Poverty’s vento taking his people away

The heat of the coal blows the populace

He runs miles away to glow in abundance of air

A psycho I am called for stripping him

My ink lays in an inferno of truth

For the orphans ,widows and my fellow citizens.              –

Memory’s quill
