The Car Ride That Changed the Future Forever

“Leaves the Reader Fascinated and Grateful!” Pastor Julie Schaecher
Author of Best-Selling Book Messed Up

“It was fascinating I simply could not put it down!” Shala LaTorraca
Author of Best-Selling Help The Book

A girl child was enticed to experience a car ride that led to her being uprooted to an unknown faraway place and an endless lifelong ride…

Tussles between two iconic grandmas (paternal and maternal) and two rivaling sisters, forced her to learn the art of survival and excellence.

The little girl grew to become an accomplished lady and finally understood her lineage and heritage: the missing link to her real-life story.

The story is in the form of email correspondence between the lady and an ex-lover who sought to know her more after a 40 years absence.

A mixture of funny incidents, tears, traumatic incidents and near-death escapes, told in a breath-taking but controlled manner will leave the reader fascinated and grateful.

Elizabeth Sama Obileye was born in 1951 to Dr. Sama Ekpo Sama and Ms Ayi Ekpe, both of Calabar, Nigeria. Taken to Ibadan where she attended St Teresa’s College, Ibadan and had her first degree in French from University of Ibadan. She has been involved in a number of projects in village health posts and she mentored children in difficult circumstances to take positive control over their destiny in both Congo-Brazzaville and Zimbabwe, using Sports, in particular, football. Through this process she helped to stimulate youth sports in Harare, Zimbabwe. Elizabeth Sama Obileye is a mother and grandmother.
