YOUNGEST EVER SPEAKER AT OUR BLACK HISTORY EVENT AT UK PARLIAMENT, 22 YEAR OLD PHILIP AKODA REFLECTS OVER A PROFOUND EXPERIENCE

When i came to the United Kingdom, i never expected i’d go into a fancy palace and moreso find myself speaking to a group of intellectuals, Business men and Women, People of Substance and Calibre at the House of Parliament. I can only thank God firstly for the grace to elevate me from my humble beginnings at Calabar to my current level in life. I have travelled a long, tiring, spiritual and emotional journey but i have never ever given up, not now or ever.

Secondly i must say a huge thank you to Mr Tony Tokunbo Eteka Fernandez, a very great and amazing person who honoured my presence at the Black History Celebrations event. Mr Fernandez opened a door of opportunity which led me to a realm full of favour and blessing. I can only pray that God in his infinite mercy favours him each day.

My mother and lovely sister Mary-Brenda remain the greatest assets i have on earth, as without them this project would be impossible and very heavy. The Aflang Project is enormous and every day, a new challenge comes but meeting all those wonderful people with words of encouragement, i know i shall finish it to the letter. To the wonderful people i met yesterday, Dont stop being Amazing.
