Adire is a form of indigo- dyed clothe of many variations, with roots in Southern West Nigeria produced by Yoruba Women
The making of Adire became a major local craft in the beautiful towns of Abeokuta and Ibadan, attracting buyers from all over West Africa
Let’s promote our own beautiful and handcrafted Adire textile design, the glut of Ankara fabric at every African show is so uninspiring.
