Cameroon Diaspora Convention – CDC, is a planned progression from the successful Cameroon Festival (CAMFEST) Programme that has taken place over the last three years

CAMFEST comprised three separate events; Gala, Cultural and Sports Exposition, and a

church service. These spanned May through to July. All these events have now been rolled

into one, and an enterprise element appended to create one single event, one single meeting place, at least two days to synergise, get to know each other and do business.

Come and be part of this great three day event aimed at building at creating enterprising and dynamic communities, building strong positive relationships and partnerships, networking and discovering a wide range of opportunities, products and services

What to expect at The Cameroon Diaspora Convention 2016

Friday – Starts at 8am

Business Day – Registration at 8am, all day business conference comprising roundtables,

Business to Business (B2B) transactions, keynote presentations on various sectors,

including Energy, Oil & Gas, Agriculture, Real Estate & Construction, ICT, Legal

Frameworks, SMEs, Education, Social Enterprise, Investments, Cameroon Diaspora-owned

business especially women-owned.

Saturday – Starts at 12 noon

Exhibition; artefacts, books, fashion, freight, health, alumni, spiritual,

Sports; adult and youth football, rugby, table tennis, pool, basket ball, volleyball

Children; bouncy castle, face-painting, tug-of-war, sack race, egg&spoon race, traditional

Cameroonian games

Cultural Display by 4 cultural groups,

Music; popular music by DJ Gala.

Food & Drink; Cameroon cuisine and BBQ

Sunday – Starts at 10:30am

Praise & Worship, Church service, good-buys, and depart

Key guests at the event shall include High Commissioners, Ministers of State, Mayors, Civic, community and business leaders.

Also in attendance will be participants comprising the Cameroon Diaspora in the UK and internationally, Cameroonians from home, members of the Host community (UK).
