To promote a positive African identity for all Africans

To promote the development of African knowledge to British public

To provide support to our members, including acting as a resource centre

To support our members upon bereavement

To facilitate, establish and improve communication within the African community and other communities including government  organisations and other bodies

To represent our community to other communities and government bodies, including joining with them, to achieve mutual goals
