POETRY CORNER- “BLANK VERSE” WRITTEN BY UTHMAN ODESON AHMADU

BLANK VERSE

“I embraced poetry
Sneaking stealthily
Through imposiblities
Making them possible”

“I have met
Talking walking shelves
Kicking dusts
In a painful protest
Speaking greek in Greece”

“Their voice
Collapsed in hand
Waiting to build
Hajj in Nigeria”

“Please plead
With pleasure
To tarry this treasures
Also to
Clatter the cliche
And clank it clear”

“The silent echoes
makes the
free furrow to follow
freedom”
