The Africa Society, University of Buckingham is all about raising African ambassadors and making a difference and the positive transformation of lives worldwide. We are passionately committed to the growth and development of the Africa Continent.
 
This student-run organization is a hub of debate and discussion for issues relating to Africa and for celebration of the diversity and culture therein.

To achieve greater unity and solidarity between the African countries and the peoples of Africa;

To promote co-operation in all fields of human activity to enhance the Students’ experience of African Students;

To promote a sense of community amongst students and provide a strong and legitimate voice on issues pertaining to Africa at the university and beyond;
To establish a vibrant social network platform for African students and others to engage with opportunities and resources in Africa;

To establish its position as one of the most vibrant and influential societies at the university;

To Promote the importance of Qualitative education as a core agent of Change and socio-economic liberation in Africa; 

To create a platform for breeding young and passionate ambassadors of change for the economic, political and socio-cultural transformation of Africa.

 
The Executive Council is made up of:

The President in Council : Adebayo Ibrahim Razak
Vice – President in Council : Zamzam Osman
Secretary General in Council : Wambui Mutugi 
Financial Treasurer in Council : Kale Rudahigwa
Public Relation Officer in Council :Gloria imevbore

The Assembly : Each member state to be represented by an Ambassador in the Assembly. 

The Constituency: To comprise of all members of the African Society
